North Fork

Rye Whiskey

North Fork

Rye Whiskey: Small Batch

Proof: 46% Alc. by Vol. (92 Proof)

The North Fork of the Flathead River flows from a remote corner of British Columbia to Montana, traveling unchecked through border crossings, over a sunken steamship and around flooded mining camps. Like its namesake river, North Fork rye whiskey gives you the taste of something true and wild. The rye brings an herbal spice, the rye malt an earthy roundness, and the corn a sweet finish best enjoyed in the great outdoors.

Sizes: 750ml, 375ml, 50ml

Distillers Notes

Grain Bill: 51% organic rye from Vilicus Farms (Havre, MT), 24% malted rye, 25% corn.

Cooperage: Aged in 15-gallon char #3 white oak barrels from the Barrel Mill (MN).

Aging: Aged at least two years in barrels, then finished in a solera system. Younger whiskey is blended with older whiskey in the solera, which is never fully emptied, ensuring a smooth, consistent flavor. Our solera, started in 2011, still contains some of the original whiskey.

Bottling Notes: Rye malt adds savory depth, while charred oak delivers caramel sweetness and smoky overtones.
