For decades, Montana’s highways followed a simple rule: drive at a speed that was reasonable and prudent for the conditions. No posted limit—just judgment, experience, and respect for the road. This Montana-made whiskey is guided by that same spirit. Distilled from Montana-grown barley and aged with patience, it is finished in stout beer barrels to bring depth, balance, and a rounded character. Crafted without excess, it is meant to be enjoyed the same way—responsibly.

Reasonable & Prudent is a blended whisky—crafted by combining straight whiskey with grain spirits to create a smoother, more approachable profile. Built on a foundation of Montana-grown barley, the blend highlights the character of our single malt while softening the edges for an easy, balanced drink.
The blend is aged in stout beer barrels that previously held 369’ Stout from Flathead Lake Brewing Company. This finishing step adds subtle richness and complexity without overwhelming the whiskey.
Expect notes of malt, toasted grain, and honey, layered with hints of dark chocolate, coffee, and a touch of smoke.

In a highball glass:
Ice cubes
1.5-2oz R&P Blended whiskey
Fresh squeezed lemon
Fill with ginger ale, soda water, or a combination of both
Garnish with a fresh lemon wedge and mint
Hi-Line Highball
In a rocks glass:
Fill with crushed ice
2oz R& P blended whiskey
Mint simple syrup
Garnish with mint.
